We are one of the leading exporters in The Netherlands and have more than 35 years experience in the bird and animal export. We started the business 37 years ago after we were big breeders of lovebirds. At that time we were looking for a way to sell the lovebirds and we were successful. Lovebird Export Company was born.
Animal Export
Our animals come from top breeders in The Netherlands and are controlled 3 times before shipment only by experts. All birds and animals are captive bred in The Netherlands.
Concerning packing; animals are send to you in new made boxes approved at the IATA rules and we assure you that we take every possible precaution to ensure that the animals reach our customers all over the world in healthy condition. Of course we take care of all the export documents you need to import your shipments.

Our workflow
While working together with Lovebird Export these are the steps we’ll take during animal export. We’ll take care of them one by one, from start till finish.
Your request
Every journey starts with your demands. On…
The search
Some animals are easy to find, others a bit harder, but in the end we always get the job done thanks to our large network of breeders.
Examinations
Once the animals arrive we’ll give them all necessary examinations. Also the animals are being given all the vaccinations that are needed to get export clearance.
Quarantine
In some cases the animals must be held in quarantine for some time. We can profide this in house at our headquaters in the Netherlands
Packaging
Animals are send special boxes approved at the IATA rules to ensure that the animals reach their destination all over the world in healthy condition.
Paperwork
We take care of all the export documents you need to import your shipments, and are controlled 3 times before shipment only by experts.
Flight
Depart from Schiphol, own agent on the scene making sure the animal export goes according to plan.
Delivery
Once the wheels are on the ground it’s time for the last part of the journey; the animals are being delivered at your doorstep.
